Today I did not see anyone in the line-up from the cliffs. I thought to myself: "I will be alone out there.....soul surfer", "No one but me and the sharks!" Finally all alone. and I started down the trail leading to the sea. I got there on an incoming tide, and as soon as I put my stuff down to ready my next exclusive excursion.......a bunch of surf bandits came cruising down the cliff face and parked right next to me!!!!! My soul-free lineup was now crowded and tripping and falling all over each other! I was bummed. I said: " Naaaaaaaa!", and cursed my world, then got really HOT, then calmed down [anger blows out the lamp of mind]. Sometimes you just have to put on blinders, so I stuck my pole in my mouth and paddled hard through the line-up and made my way out past the breakers, avoiding the cattle drive on the inside. No fish today. On my way out I saw a big Corbina and a shovel-nose guitarfish, about 6-7 pounds, scared him...
